Any idea of value or year? Looks pristine!! Owner says 15-18 years old. Seems newer to me.

Pics are tiny, but based on what appear to be canti brakes and 5 arm crank that looks like a reasonable guess, if not older.

Still learning
I could be off 1-2 years. If I needed a rider needing no work, maybe $150. BTW, I avoid suspension forks like the plague.

I bought one like that new in '96 or '97. LX front derailleur and I think XT rear. $150 sounds about right to me too.

Its a 96. I have one in the basement. Thinking of selling mine- I just can't get comfortable on it any longer. They are well made solid bikes. Never had a problem with mine. I saw them going for around $225 last year. I think it was around $700 new. I have all the paperwork if you'd like to know exactly.
