Hi everyone,

I have been searching high and low on CL for a used road bike for commuting to/from work and joyrides on the weekends. I have narrowed my search down to 3 listings, but am unsure if any of them is worth it. Here are the details:

1. Trek 1200, looks like 2006 model. Not sure of size but the seller says she is a 5'3" and I am a bit below 5'4" so it should work fine. The images posted makes it look to be in great shape. She wants $300. I would be glad to go take a look but the drive is easily 2 hours, so I want to make sure the price is not ridiculous before making the time commitment.

2. Merida Scultra 903. This brand, let alone model, is not sold in the U.S. I heard it is a Taiwanese brand and the guy selling it claims he brought it over all the way from Asia. It is a 50cm. It also looks pristine, but I can't find ANY information about it online! Does anyone have experience with the brand? I talked the price down to $300 from $350 just through text, but I think that's as low as he will go for it. This one is an hour drive away!

3. Fuji Newest 3.0. This is being sold for $280, also 50cm. Although located closer, I am not sure how sketchy this post is since texts from the seller kept containing typos and weird spacing, which always concerns me when it comes to CL. Does that sound like a reasonable price for this bike? Too high or too low? Any red lights go off for you guys?
