    Value?

Well used "80"s vintage Motobecane. This bike has a 42t front sprocket and 16t rear freewheel. Shimano 600 cranks and brakes. Campy record hubs w mavic G40 rims. Wheels are true. Richey stem and Profile bars.

What would a bike like this be worth? Anything worth purchasing on it?

Around here (near Seattle WA) that bike would go for $150 easy in the spring (the market is nuts here). I love that crankset and the wheel set is not to shabby either.........my 2 cents

Grand Records were top-end Motobecanes. I'd suggest restoring it if possible. Then think about the value. I love old Moto's. They ride so nice.

Hello, I'm the newguy, that barely knows the difference between a dirk bike and a ten speed, so i need help.
I have an old kids bike my wife said she rode as a child, but I can not find the name of it. Here are a couple pics if anyone can help.

It is worth zero. Donate it to your favorite thrift store, or keep it if it has sentimental value. This is in reference to the misplaced posting directly above.

I'll go with the $75, but only if the chain stay hasn't been repaired at the rear dropout.

I should have said the RD/chainstay brazing appears cracked and my initial impression was that it had been repaired. Either way I wouldn't buy it.
