1974 Raleigh Super Course

Does $85 sound like a good deal for a 1974 Super Course? I haven't seen the bike in person yet, but from the photo, it seems to be in decent shape. The frame is scratched up but the decals are still there and the crank looks good. The brakes and wheels aren't stock and I don't know what kind of shape they're in. It doesn't come w/ a seat either.

I won a '74 SC on eBay for $89 not long ago, and it sounds like it was in similar condition. It had stock mechs, crank, brakes, and bars, but someone had unfortunately swapped in a steel rear wheel at some point.

That's why I'm 2.5 donuts ahead of you.

I have a '74 frame just waiting for when I want another fixed-gear or single-speed commuter that can fit winter tires. I really like these bikes for making budget all-rounders.
Not quite as nice as your green Mk. II, Neal but good wheels, fenders and some lighting works for me.

I think $85 is good.
A tune-up or overhaul is recommended.
Replace cables and housing, brake pads, and probably tires.
DIY!
