What's the value on 2 modern MTB Trek frames?
2 Attachment(s)
I have 2 trek frames that I know absolutely nothing about and would appreciate if someone could give me a ball park estimate on there value. Do I toss them or sell them? The Blue frame is a Trek Fuel Ex9 and the Black frame says Alpha super light Aluminum custom butted seam. E55 Drawn X1. That's all I know about them.

neither is anything special, if neither you or any friends can use them, I'd give them to a co-op or something

I didn't realize you could get the rear triangle separately for a frame like that. I have no idea what they are worth either. Looks like the Alpha is going to be worth $50-100, the Flame would be worth a lot more if it had a rear triangle. I looked them up on ebay to see this. Questions about the value of a currently available bike is often better answered by looking through the completed auctions on ebay.
And there is a sub-forum for valuation questions, which seems to be really difficult to see. |

I'm fairly sure the blue one is the front half of a full suspension frame. The rear half would be attached via a rear shock and some sort of articulating joint, both of which have clearly been removed. Half a frame is worth approximately dick all.

The black frame: $25 t $50, the blue frame squadoosh.
