I have an old Peugeot, what is a fair price

I was cleaning out the attic and decided to put my old Peugeot on craigslist. I believe it is a UO10 I bought new in the early 80's, but not sure the exact model. It's completely original (except tires and brake pads), and is in great condition. I've kept it all these years I guess for sentimental reasons; it was my first real bike (after schwinn stingrays, varsitys, etc.). I don't have the time/interest in cleaning it up and riding it, but I thought someone else might get some enjoyment out of it. It would need tubes, tires, clean and lube, and would be a great bike for someone. What would a fair price be for a bike like this on Craigslist? Any advice is appreciated.

As is, $125, cleaned up, lubed, new tires and tubes: $200.

As a bare minimum, I would clean it really good, air up the tires, and you can probably get $150 for it (and it will sell a lot faster than as is for $125). People looking for projects (like me) expect a healthy discount (cheaper than $125). I bought a very similar Peugeot for $37.50. Most buyers want bikes ready to ride (which is what I did to the Peugeot I bought).

You can address the hard brake pads easily with a file. Loosen the cable at the caliper first to give you room to work. Then just file off the top hard layer. Readjust cable and you are ready to go. Its not as good as replacing the pads, but better than leaving them hard as bricks.

You should consider using Flickr or similar to host your pics in the Craigs List ad. This allows you to post a full size pic in the ad.

Thanks., I stuck it on Austin craiglist for $150 and we'll see if it can find a new home. The tires hold air and everything works except the brake pads are little hard.

I agree with $125 as-is and $200 cleaned up, at least in the Boston market.
I have a used bicycle price guide:
