Univega Gran Premio

I'm looking for info on an early 80's model. I'm the original owner but loaned it out the last 23 years!
I think it was ridden only a handfull of miles the whole time it was gone. Great bike.
Ive heard rumours the frames were made by Miyata and I could believe it. Nice lugs, beautiful work.
Any info on origins or current values would be greatly appreciated.
Serial # is T 942879
Thanks in advance

I have one. I LOVE it. Just LOVE it. I have collected all of the orginal parts except I am not sure about the cranks/pedals and am getting ready to have the frame re-painted. The cranks on it right now are Sugino Aero X. I have found pictures on line, but all of them have different cranks. What do you have, and are they original? Pedals would be nice. Serial # on mine is J942504.

Thanks!

It is a lovely bike and alas I've no pics right now.
Mine came with the AeroX crank with (old man knee bustin) 42/52. 42 being the smallest that will fit on the bolt circle. I live with hills so I have a temp crank replacement thats a little more agreeable.
My original pedals are MKS Esquartz(?) with the toe clip that mounts flat into the pedal instead of bending down and bolting on the front. Very cool but I've yet to find replacement clips. My brother in law says he may still have them stuffed away somewhere. I use SPD now as I'm not into vintage shoes/clips also.
cheers
