How much would you pay for a Bianchi Campione Del Mondo?
I'm looking into getting a road bike (both of my current bikes are fixed gears), and I can't decide whether I want to save up for a nice, modern aluminum frame/carbon fork entry-level bike ($800-$1200), or an older steel bike for much cheaper, right now (anywhere from $150-$300). I don't really want downtube shifters in the long run though. I really like the thought of integrated shifters, and want to give them a try.
Anyways, found this on the local craigslist. Is this a good deal for $525? I think I've read Mirage is the lowest/cheapest group, but at least it's Campagnolo and not some rag-tag assortment of brands/groups. I like the classic look, but I'm also liking it that it has the integrated shifters. It also looks to be in pretty good condition, but I'm no vintage bike expert. You guys are, though, so any help is appreciated! What do you think?

MSRP of ~$1000. It appears to be a well kept maching in nice condition. $525 seems high considering an MSRP of $1000-ish

I bought a similar Bianchi earlier this summer, with a mix of 9 speed Mirage and Veloce, for 275$, largely for the group.
However: a) you're in Philly, a hot bike market. I'm in Richmond Virginia. expect to pay more.
b) bike is a smaller size. Expect to pay more.
c) My group was largely unridden, and I should be able to flip the frame for 100-150, leaving me with a complete Campy group in good condition for another project-- at a very low price.
d) You're the end user, in all likliehood. You don't have another roadie. I have enough bikes I can hold out for relative bargins.
