I am looking at the 3 bikes can anyone give me any input if they are worth the price.
$160 56cm Gitane Road Bike. Very low mileage bike. VGC. Has Suntour drivertrain, Weinmann centerpull brakes, Rigida rims, and a handsome Ideale #90 saddle. 10 speeds. And the other is $200 Olmo Italian Competition Road Bike. Shimano 600 crank set with bio pace chain wheels. Shimano Sante brakes and deraileurs $150 (No pictures) Bridgestone racing bike with shimano equipment. Model 700. Year 1984. 21" frame |
Don't know abouy the value, but I would rather spend $200 on the Olmo than $160 on the Gitane.

OLMO is a smokin hot deal, Gitane is overpriced.
Run and get that OLMO quick! It will not last. |
which one fits? Either/both: get the Olmo, assuming you can stomach the paint, it's a much better bike. Not that I have anything against a *good* Gitane, but that Ideale saddle is the only real stand-out feature on the whole bike. Prices seem good/fair to me, but it depends on your location.

I love Gitanes, but the Olmo appears to be a better deal.

You guys have been a world of information thank you so much. I also came across this:
Bridgestone racing bike with shimano equipment. Model 700. Year 1984. 21" frame $150 |
The Olmo is exactly my size. I will go a check it out. I think they are willing to negotiate.
