Please help identify this Beacon

I found this bike; it looks like someone started to convert it and gave up.
I just want to ride it for the few month I am visiting Boston.
Because this is just a short term fix/need I just replaced the chain as a single speed, new break pads, tubes and throw away plastic peddles. I might put some love into it next year when i visit again....

I'm really just curious about and couldn't find any info elsewhere.

Other than the decals on the frame I cannot find much on the components. The breaks are PolyGon, the stem and cranks are marked "SR". The derailers were removed and it was looks like the front cogs are new(er) but that is just because there is no rust on them at all

Looks like a private label/department store bike from the bike boom era. Front fork may be bent, hard to tell from that picture angle.

the fork isn't bent, yes it's the photo. Sadly the crank arm on the drivechain side is though (just a hair). Unless i can find a bike swap or some super cheap components it's not worth it to swap anything else out at this point.

it's a fun little bike though and will be a fun project next spring.
