This is probably a better forum for asking this question. Seems like it would be a good deal if the price is right.

I'm getting the eBay "Page not responding" message.

The shock absorbing front end should make for a pretty comfy ride. Ultegra 8 speed STI is decent but not as nice as more modern groups so keep this in mind when bidding.

If it fits, and you want an aluminum framed bike, the price is still pretty good.

I think this would be better in the Appraisal sub-forum though.

Wow! A headshock fork. Haven't seen one of those in a long time.

Yeah, I'd bid on it. Looks great.

This was posted over in the Road Bike forum as well. At $260 plus shipping it's still a bargain, but with 5 days to go, I think this one is going to be up there and not such a bargain. As I said on the other forum, I have the SR500 version which is the same frame but with CXP 10 wheels and RSX 7X3 brifters. The head shock DOES make for a nice front end ride, but the short aluminum frame gives a typical Cannondale stiff rear ride. I upgraded mine to Shimano 600, 8 speed. Those are very smooth shifters and I like them better than the RSX. If this goes north of $500, and it looks like it might, I'm not so sure it's much of a bargain, but it depends on how bad you want that head shock. For someone like me with an injured neck, this frame is ideal.

I had similar Cannondale, an SR800 that I threw on ebay with a 'Buy Now' of $450 and a best offer of $400 or higher. Its sold in less than 4 hours. My bike had DT shifters versus the STI's this bike has.

If I had to guess, I'd say the bike in question will sell for $450-500. I'm not sure if the headshock helps or hurts the value.

My infamous SR800:
