maybe to a giant looking for a nice vintage track bike that'll fit him.
seriously though, looks to be in pretty good condition. I watched one fetch about 1300 on eBay a while ago.
not that someone of my stature would ever pay that much for one...

Well, was the fork later drilled to accept the brake? If so, that probably dropped its value down quite a bit. Because the bike only has a front brake, we can probably assume that this bike was ridden outside of the velodrome.
I dunno, but I certainly wouldn't pay anywhere near $1600 for it. But that's just me--well maintained Professionals can definitely fetch a good price ($1200+)--assuming you find the right buyer.
