Maruishi RX-7 Road Ace w/ Ishiwata tubing, 105 components.

It's about a 56 cm frame. Shimano 105 components (hubs, brakes, brake calipers, index shifters, derailleurs, pedals), Araya rims, Vetta saddle.. Everything is pretty much stock except the brand new Cinelli cork handlebar tape. Color scheme rocks. Any idea what it's worth? Possibly going on Craigslist Houston in the near future.

Its a project, needs some minor clean up to maximize value: rust on brake pad for example. And what is that discoloration in the middle of the top tube? I would take some polishing compound to it. Could need new tires as well.

Around here, once cleaned up and ready to go, maybe $275. Right now, quite a bit less. So a little time should be well rewarded in selling price.

The middle of top tube has slight discoloration of paint from a rusty chain wrapped around it. It rides really well. shifts smoothly with no slipping. Thanks

I would try polishing compound to get that top tube discoloration off. That is too nice of a bike to have that one defect. You could be surprised at how it cleans up!

Thanks for the tip! Do you have a specific product in mind, and is it safe for the clear coat? Thanks again.

This. Just like the stuff for your car. Like wrk101 said. It can do wonders for the paint.
