$10 due to condition. It is a low end bike to begin with, and it is in really poor condition. Will take someone with a lot of patience, tools, and access to parts to dive into this project. And such a project person could find a better project to work on. Possible part out, but there are not a lot of good parts on this one, at least from what I can see. I would be donating it.

Can't tell from the photos. Are the wheels original Rigida or alloy replacements? Do the derailleurs work? Much of the rest sure looks rusty. Some parts might be worth saving, perhaps the brakes. Maybe even the frame.

If I were you, I'd strip it and rebuild the frame into a better bike. I bet you could get it to 25-26 lbs with alloy wheels and upgraded components. The ride is worth it.

The Mafac Racers, Lyotard 36 pedals, and the french Bottom bracket are worth saving. Also, Old UO-8's are good sources for Normandy High flange hubs and interesting bar end plugs.

A UO-8 very similar to that one donated most of the parts I'm building my PR-10 with, don't let it go to the garbage.

The problem with the UO-8's though is that the BB is cottered. you aren't going to find many that will want the spindle. The cups however are another matter altogether. And the Mafacs are probably some of the nicest vintage brakes I've ever rolled on.

OK, so that is good news, I was hoping that I might find something that I could move forward with. I have a mountain of used parts to pick though for replacements. I need to look for the stronglight cranks that would have been an upgrade for that frame. I found another bike today, in this forum, "old and brown" as it is posted. nice wheels on that one..

A few decades ago I upgraded my UO-8 with a Sugino crank, alloy wheels, Suntour derailleurs. It was a nice bike like that.

Where do you live? Around here, hipsters regularly pay $100 more than they should for any Peugeot. The name has more cachet than any other vintage brand, even Bianchi.
