$100 to $125 max, in pristine, everything ready to ride condition. Older hybrids have very little value. This one looks really clean, so depending on your market, may go for the $125 mark.

Properly marketed, full size pictures from Flickr or similar, not the crap Craigs List pictures, in ready to ride condition (no rust, everything works, tires aired up), yes, I would start at $125 in your area.

Not sure about Orange County (that's what you mean by OC, correct?) but Mixte bikes (and this might be one, depending on how strict you are about definition) fly like crazy in certain parts of CA. Gas pipe Peugeot U18 mixte bikes with crappy french components go for $250+ This is a Tange superset bike, in a very attractive small size with suntour accushift components. The pedals are hideous and should be changed to something with cages and straps. Other than that, if you advertise it well (MIXTE!) and list componentry and such, I think that for your area $250 will be a good starting point. It might take you a while to sell and you might have to settle for $150-175.

If you can ebay a basic high ten steel hybrid and get $250 for it, god bless you and please post links after the sale. I would not compare it to one of the road bike mixtes, it doesn't have that vintage look buyers are seeking.

I sold one very similar (hybrid mixte) in perfect, ready to ride condition, earlier this year, for $115. And it took me a while to sell.

If this bike somehow morphed from high ten steel in the OP to Tange Superset, then it might be worth it.

I would not consider that a hybrid, more of an ATB, (all terrain bike). most of these lowerend bikes fell by the wayside as hybrids came into the market.

I don't have a '89 Mountain bike catalog from Bianchi but I would have to agree with the others. $125 would be good for this ike in great shape. the '89 model only listed for $290 so the '88 must have been close to 260 or 270.

I have that great little Forte' that is twice the mountain bike this is and I can't seem to get 200 for it.

One last comment, bikes that are not special often do very poorly on ebay. The shipping hurdle alone has a major impact on a $100 bike (shipping alone can be close to $100). So unless the bike is one that hipsters are lusting after, or rare, unique, or high end, you usually can do better locally on C/L. I sometimes pick up lower level bikes on ebay for a song, due to the lack of interest. As long as I can pick them up myself (to avoid shipping charges), it can be a deal. I bought a Centurion last night on ebay, $59. Will be picking it up later this week. Seller of that bike would have done better just selling locally (I was the only bidder).
