Cinelli seatpost or what alternative

I am building up a frame from the late 70's to early 80's with a complete shimi 600 ex arabesque group.

The frame has a cinelli bb and the bars/stem are cinelli too.

Now there is no 600 ex arabesque seatpost so there is no solution, but the arabesque group was made from 78 to 84 and in 81 shimi introduced the 600 ax seatpost. Would this be a good match for the ex arabesque group.

Than i looked for a matching cinelli seatpost but i can't find it anywhere so i expect there is none.

What can be a good alternative as i wished i could have a seatpost from shimi or cinelli for obvious reasons.

What can be a good substitute

One obvious choice would be an SR or Sugino post. I wouldn't have an issue with using another Shimano post, either, like the 600 ax you suggest, or Dura Ace (likely expensive). With the Cinelli bar and stem, another good alternative would be a Gipiemme post, which I think would look good on a 600 ex bike. You're right that there's not an appropriate Cinelli post of that era.
