Serotta built Titanium Paramount

Hi,
I've been lurking here for a while now and reading your old post, I have a handful of nice Vintage Bikes and always like to add one more.
There is a Very nice example of a Ti Paramount available, but it seems high at his $1600 price tag so, what is a fair price now days for a Serotta Schwinn?

Thanks,
Chuck

Bikes: Was Fuji and got my grails (Pro, Pro SR, Design Series, & Ti). Now I hunt 50's and older road bikes.

picture, age, & components would be helpful. You won't get much help without them.

And if it is worth that much to you (if you are buying), then it doesn't really matter. Realize that for $1600, you would only get a lower to mid range new road bike.

was that a "buy it now" price, or did bidding get it that high. If it was bid that high there were at least two people that thought it was worth that much. Unless the seller had a shill

It sold for the BIN price, he said "Many" were interested in it.
Seemed a little high to me from past bike sales, the frame was nice, a few parts had been changed out.
The frame set new was $2200 when they came out.
