2001 Lemond Tourmalet on CL; is it worth $320?

Hey Guys,

Saw this Lemond Tourmalet on CL and thought I'd get some input on whether it's a good deal or not. Thoughts?

https://stlouis.craigslist.org/bik/2028569736.html

Thanks!

If everything works, the bike is clean, and it is your size, thats a good deal.

If it were my size I'd buy it.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the input. The little bit of info that I had on Lemonds all sounded good. So, assuming that it fits correctly, it sounds like this would be a good purchase? I've never had a road bike before, so I'm not real versed in what's good or not. The seller mentioned that he rode it this past weekend and found that the rear derailleur probably needs some work so he would drop the price to $320.

is a beat paint frame worth $100 less than a mint paint frame?
ie: what is mint paint worth to you?

many of the lemonds have bad paint and rust easily, or they just abused and left wett too long/much?
also the "Lemond" stickers are easily messed up, esp at the front derailleur

Maybe that's why the paint "was" so nice. Anyhoo, I am also guilty of responding to old threads,
Best, Ben
