Have you checked out the BMX Museum site?

    http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/

They will have a lot better idea of it's vintage and worth. I wouldn't expect too much, it's not a high end model. It's not a GT or a Mongoose let alone one of the more desirable small builders. Probably from the early '90s.

I was thinking more mid to late '80s. I was selling them from about '89 to '94ish and don't recall that color. is this by any chamce in the UK?
Bianchis '87 Sport SX, '90 Proto, '90 Campione del Fausto Giamondi Specialisma Italiano Mundo, '91 Boarala 'cross, '93 Project 3, '86 Volpe, '97 Ti Megatube, , '90 something Vento 603,

Others but still loved,; '80 RIGI, '80 Batavus Professional, '87 Cornelo, '09 Motobecane SS, '?? Jane Doe (still on the drawing board), '90ish Haro Escape

My 98 viper had a threadless stem and v brakes. Those Dia Compe calipers would probably put it at mid to late 80s

I'm sure you guys are right about the time frame. I know they used that particular form of the logo with Diamond Back as two words until at least thru '93. Surprised to find that style started in '85, so not a good way to date it.
The color shows up in '86 but with white trim.
