They will have a lot better idea of it's vintage and worth. I wouldn't expect too much, it's not a high end model. It's not a GT or a Mongoose let alone one of the more desirable small builders. Probably from the early '90s.

I was thinking more mid to late '80s. I was selling them from about '89 to '94ish and don't recall that color. is this by any chamce in the UK?

My 98 viper had a threadless stem and v brakes. Those Dia Compe calipers would probably put it at mid to late 80s

I'm sure you guys are right about the time frame. I know they used that particular form of the logo with Diamond Back as two words until at least thru '93. Surprised to find that style started in '85, so not a good way to date it.
