Just won Eddy Merckx on Ebay
Do you guys think its worth what I paid for it?
I couldn't pass up the fact of how immaculent of condition it is and the fact that they found it shrink wrapped in a barn is too cool. I just want to know what more experienced buyers think to either help reassure me I didn't get jipped or two set me straight so I can flip it now or later. Thanks a ton.

Think you paid around market price, maybe even a bit low, given condition. Merckxs are not cheap. Very nice looking example.

Not sure it has much room for flip. Beautiful bike for sure! Be sure it gets well packed. Packed by a bike shop is no guarantee. Do a search for Miami Jim's packing guideline, its great. Packing a bike to ship is quite an undertaking, shortcuts can lead to disappointments.
I have bought three bikes shipped off ebay, two were disasters, including the one professionally packed. The other arrived perfect, and was well packed. All of the rest of the bikes I have bought off ebay, I have picked up in person, driving up to 200 miles one way. That way, I can inspect it prior to handing over the cash, and insure no damage in shipping. The cost of shipping a bike basically covers the gas. So depending where you live versus the seller, I would consider picking it up.
