1977 Schwinn all chrome Le Tour. What's it worth?
I have a 1977 Schwinn all chrome Super Le Tour 12.2 All of the components have been changed out to Shimano 105 parts including derailers, brakes and sprockets. Anyone have any idea what it may be worth? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Frameset: $300. Complete bike $300. Many buyers interested in that bike are not going to like the 105 stuff. Assumes well crafted ebay ad, with better pictures than were posted earlier. ebay sale = lots of variation, so actual final price is a bit of a crapshoot. But a lightweight, 1970s, chrome Schwinn, even an imported one, should do well.

I agree with Bill, although IMHO there are lots of non-purists who would see the 105 components as an upgrade from the OEM components. Equipped with 105 components and decent wheels, I'd say it should sell on eBay for $400 - $500. The chrome finish was a $50 upcharge on the 1977 Super Le Tour 12.2.

I have watched these on eBay quite a bit. Usually sell around $250 to $325 during the Summer. Currently I would not throw one on unless you put BIN with best offer or have the starting price at a spot where you are willing to let it go. You can post on eBay right now for free at any start price. So you have nothing to lose.
