KC market sucks, more flippers than buyers. You won't get what it's worth.

I am not buying or selling. Just trying to figure out if I got a good deal. I paid $200 for it a couple of years ago.

You can say that again. Oh, the drama! You have to hand it to "Paul" though. He is so creative with his location to get around reposting rules! SKC, Waldo, KC area, Area, even Leawood (don't know how he pulls that one off)?

Getting back to topic, $200.00 is a good buy and you should be able to make some money, or possibly trade for another bike. If I remember, you are interested in a track bike around 54 to 56 cm. I'm on the lookout, but that size rarely comes up, even in St. Louis.

Ebay will probably net you the greatest profit in the short term.

If you like riding it, yes. If not, and you don't want the hassle of selling it, no. If you want to know if you could turn a profit by selling it, yes you could.

Viners are somewhat undervalued in the market, I think. My daughter has one, and it is a light, well-built bike with some fine details (star cut-outs everywhere, double-tapered seat stays, e.g.). It is an excellent rider as well. Your track bike, undrilled as it is, would be worth twice as much if it was a more famous Italian brand, but I can't see how you could have done better for $200. If you choose to sell it on ebay, you will more than double your money, especially if you wait a few months & take some good photos.

Thanks for your input. Don`t really want to sell it. But it is a little too big for me, I ride a 52 or 53 in a track frame. This is a 55 and I look stupid going down the road with the seat post barely sticking out of the frame. I would consider trading it for a vintage track bike of a smaller frame of equal value.

I could really care less about that. I' just getting tired of seeing all the posts complaining about him, and all the posts complaining about the complainer. People need to get a life.

yes, Ebay is probably your best bet around here.
