Mystery Bike ID Help (Colnago decals, campy drops)

Any idea on year and brand/model on this? Friend brought it back to me from Italy as is.

We need better pictures showing the lugs, fork crown, bottom of the bottom bracket shell and dropouts. As it looks, it may be a fake or a lower end Colnago than what was marketed here.

+1 to it not being a Colnago. It still looks like a decent frameset given the Campy dropouts, but is screaming for a real paint job.

Looks like a high quality frame, nicely brazed. Could be any one of hundreds of small Italian builders, or even French as the dropout treatment was popular in France. Most definitely not a Colnago, but I understand that many bikes are decaled as Colnago in Europe.
