Gazelle Champion Mondial AA Super
Hello,
I had just been given a Gazelle Champion Mondial AA Super in pretty rough, but saveable condition. I have been doing searches like crazy and am not coming up with much. So far I am seeing that these might of only been made in 1984 (Please correct me if I'm wrong) and that this is a fairly rare bike. Being a Gazelle I know it's not worth a fortune or highly sought after and that is not the reason for me trying to clean this bike up and get it back and running, I am mainly doing this as a way to pass time (car guys have hotrods...I have bikes). My goal is to get this thing as period correct as possible. If this thing is made only in 84 it shouldn't be that hard, but if there are other years than this might be tough. As you can see the frame has been repainted at some point, which I might add is pretty hideous and unfortunately when it was repainted, the serial number got packed with paint, so that is unvisible...I could probably sand that area to eventually get to a serial number right? But anyway my main question is how in the heck can I find a picture that would contain the AA Super with a stock paint job? If I am repainting this and investing this much time and money into it, I would rather have it as close to original as possible. Sorry for jumping around so much on this thread, I am just excited, and curious. Thanks in advance guys.
