What Year was this Koga Miyata built?
Hello,
bought this Koga Miyata Roadwinner yesterday for 100euro.
It is in really great shape and looks almost like new. Best is
it seems that the bike is in the original condition since even the
tires (Koga Miyata tires) seems to be still the 1st ones.
It is equiped fully shimano 600 and some Koga Miyata parts.
Wolber Rims.
My questions:
From when dates this bike?
Is it high or low end Koga Miyata stuff?
What would have been the real price?
Matt
As always some pictures for better appreciation:

Very nice example. 86MY. Somewhere middle of the range in the Koga line up. Of course a very decent bike with this specifications.
Right pedal is misssing dust cap. You should try to source a replacement.
It is hard to say what is the 'real' value of this RoadWinner is. Depends on how many people there are in the market for mint RoadWinner. I don't know. Keep it, enjoy it.

Thanks for the info!
Was not thinking about selling the bike since I always try to keep all the old bikes I can get in a that good condition.
Just wanted to know what it`s worth because I think it is important to have an idea of what you are riding.
And you have a good eye! Will try to find a replacement for the dust cap. Gues Ebay is the best place to find one, or not?
Pedal rims are missing too by the way...

Nice Bike, I am also trying to date my bike. I was cleaning it the other day and came across a break that goes all the way around the seat bar where it is welded to the center section where the crankset goes in. it is a Koga Miyata RoadRunner Alloy 7005 serial # H8E06789, stamped on the underside. Could someone help me out????
