Vitus 979 60cm w/ Suntour Superbe Pro, Shimano 600

I'm parting out a Vitus 979...

looking for some guidence on value

Unfortunatly the vitus frame is compromised... the rear seat stay has seperated from the frame... see pictures. I'm not sure if or how this can be repaired.

Is the frame a total loss or whould someone be able to repair it?

List of components

Suntour Superbe Front and Rear Derailleurs

Suntour Superbe Down Tube shifters

Wheels... Mavic MA40...front maillard hub, rear no marking on hub

Shimano 600... crank, pedals, headset, break calipers, break levers-levers are functional but serverly scratched.

SR royal stem

Campaganolo fluted seat post... unknown group

Cassette ???

Tange front fork... I don't believe it is original but it in good shape... if frame is not salvagable I'll sell fork seperate but if frame can be repaired fork with go with frame.

Let me know what you think. I'm going to hopefully break this bike down this weekend clean parts, and list parts for sale on BF first before ebay

Thanks

Parts value only. Although the big vitus frames (and all Vitus frames) look really, really cool, they're extremely whippy and have an annoying tendency to come apart under bigger riders. Smaller riders (cf Sean Kelly) liked them.

If I found an intact one cheap (say, 50$) in my size I'd probably buy it, just based on aesthetics. But I don't think the frame has much value.

I just tried contacting a few shops that specialize in vitus repair. I've also seen a few glues and epoxyies recommended to fix the seat stay...

However I do not want to be responsible for fixing the frame and having it fail on someone god for bid while riding
