I was given a blue mid 70's Schwinn BMX. It is complete, in fair condition, paint is quite good, decals are complete and somewhat vivid. The bike is filthy and the chrome is poor. The original black mag wheels are also with it, just no tires. It serves me no purpose and I wanted to get an idea of value. Thanks!

This bike was short lived, after small builders like Redline started if I remember.

Actually I kind of like it.
Someone may buy it for the wheels, another may want the piece of history.

That's sort of what I was thinking. There is a crazy Schwinn collector near me who has a very nice mid 80's Schwinn High Sierra in my size.... Perhaps he'll trade

I just sold one two weeks ago on Kansas city craigslist with mags for $40 Listed it for $60 the week before with no response. Mine was a 1979 all black paint kind of rough , but was in great riding condition. But Kansas City bike market is weak.
