Help to identify the bike frame with heart shape logo

Are there any frame or parts manufacturers who use a love heart shape as their logo?

I intend to get an old lugged steel racing bike. The only thing hinting it's manufacturer is a small love heart welded at the reverse of the down tube

I list out the component it uses to make easier to identify

    Brake levers: Shimano Exage Action
    Bake: Shimano Exage Action
    Shifter: Shimano SIS Sport LX
    FD: Shimano Exage Sport
    RD: Suntour RT 1000
    Front Crank: Sugino Aero Maxy
Wheelset: Rigida Super Chormix Chromage 85
Front Hub: Just notice a U or C font
Rear Hub: Sturmey Archer England 1985
    Stem: Alps
    Handle bar: Jae Chen Custom
    Headset: Seiki

    There is a serial number: NM1729 / 1725 - can't identify the last number
The serial number located at the side of the seat tube towards bottom braket
    Cassette: 5 speed

That heart shaped braze on you took a picture of is a very common cable clamp stop, found on numerous bikes from a long list of manufacturers.

I see. Okay, thanks for enlighten.

I have another concern...noticed the down tube does not have the hole for bottle holder.
I also didn't noticed any serial number below the bottom bracket. Is this bike genuine?

However, the frame is consider light (as per the attached photo)
The fork is chrome and partial chrome at both seat & chain stay.
The frame also have a nice lugs

your frame does not have brazeons for bottle cages either because of it age or it a lower lever bike that simply would not have them

depending on the maker and the year it was mafe the serial number could be on the porting of the headlug that wraps around the headtube, the bottom few inches of the seattube, the seatlug, or one of the dropouts.

the chrome on the stays could indicate a better quality bike.

Hope with more detail on the bike, could anyone here help to identify the manufacturer or perhaps you owned similar bike.

    Many thanks.

While not fool proof, the image lacking is one of the rear dropouts, if stamped generally of lesser quality vs. forged, here the weight of the frame may help assess the tubing quality. The bike has hidden rust, and looks ridden and put away wet. Probably a lower mid level bike originally, I suspect many parts have been exchanged over time.

    thanks...

with the headtube lugs identical, no clue?
Do noticed that the headtube has 2 pin and it's approximately 1 inches in between.

Is there any website that can help identify the maker by giving the bike serial number?

The two pins on the head tube are most likely from the missing head tube badge.

    That's what my assumption too.
Question, back then...less quality bike makers do use stamped emblem as well?

I remembered during early 90's I owned a replica colnago road bike. They just use decals / stickers

Guys....would like to get your view on the decision to purchased this vintage bike.

Brand is unknown... I'm more concern about the built actually. The fork is chrome, the seat and chain stay is also partially chrome too. The weight of the bike is relatively light in general.
Groupset is pretty good besides the rusted nuts and screws. Will it affect the functionality based on the attached image?
My another concern is the 27 1/4 RIGIDA SuperChromix Rim. Looking from inner part, it is rusted entirely and the rubber rim tape still intact.
    Could this to air leakage?

Your valuable inputs is highly appreciated. Thanks

My view is do not buy the bike, keep looking.

Your pictures show a lower quality bike in bad condition. Beside the poor quality components the frames seems to have moderate rust damage that was covered over by a poor spray can paint job. The bike will require an overhaul.

Perhaps the selection of bikes in your location is poor - but this one isn't even rideable in it's current state. With steel rimmed wheels I wouldn't pay $10 for it.

I concur with the VERY bad paint job is hiding considerable rust. Move on. You don't need a project that bad. . er. . badly.

Thank you so much for the inputs...
I guess I will drop the idea on this and look up for a better build.

    Cheers guys!
