1951 Dawes Clubman
Hi Guys,
This is my first official post. I've recently rescued this 1951 Dawes Clubman and I wanted to see if any of you have ever seen one like this? If so, I would love to see some pictures! Does anyone have an idea of how much is it worth? The bike is all original except for the tires since they are American made (Pennsylvania Rubber Co.) It's a 3 Speed Sturmey Archer AW stamped 51 - 6. I'll post better pictures if there is any interest.
Thanks!
Diego

Yeah, thanks. There are a couple of similar bikes but I don't see any 3 speeds on those pictures.

No idea on value, but please post more photos. She's really beautiful, and a great size (mine!). Well done.

I believe other Dawes club models from that era usually had Reynolds 531 tubing. Does yours have them? 531 on such an early bike would drive up value a whole lot. I know there was a guy asking $800 for a 1949 Raleigh Clubman and a similar 1950 Dawes ladies bike back in 2000, if that's any help

First off. Beautiful Bike. Dawes are Amazing machines. In my Exspert advice i would say value between $400.00-$800.00. I know thats a big gap but it all depends if parts are original to the bike and it works properly and its Complete to factory standerds. I know you probs dont have the paper work but if you find info websites and sell the bike with Info. It will help the sale and sale price!

Thanks for the responses! The frame looks almost identical to this 1950's Dawes featured on Classic Rendezvous. The Dawes logo on the bike and front badge are exactly the same. What tubing was used on that frame?
