1987 60cm Trek 560EX 9-speed drivetrain

The bike is in really good shape, some minor dings on the paint, rides great. My brother was using this regularly, bought a new Trek and doesn't need 2 bikes.

Barely used Sora 9-speed shifters, Tiagra RD, Ultegra FD, 105 crankset 39/53
Unbranded brake calipers, were swapped from a 2009 or so Trek 1.2
Seat tube is 60cm c-t
Selle San Marco "Rolls" saddle
Nitto Technomic stem, Easton bars
Sakae seatpost
unbranded hubs, Alex DA22 rims 32-spoke radial in front, 32 3-cross rear
Kenda tires, probably should be replaced with a smaller size.

I'm guessing $300, is that reasonable?

+1 Your guess is about right. The modern drivetrain does not get much return for the cost. Might go as high as $350. But with the modern stuff all removed, and replaced with more era correct stuff (which can be found cheap), bike might bring $300. Financially, it is best to remove these upgrades and put them on your next bike, or sell them separately.

If you are near Boston, add a premium to those figures.

In Boston, $300 will probably net a lot of emails.

For future reference: I put it up for $400 and sold it pretty quick at that price - buyer loved the frame and was into the modernization. He had a mid-80's Trek 520 touring bike and wanted a road bike to complement it.
