REI Novara Strada (90s)
I'm in the market for a new used bicycle after arranging the sale of my old road bike. I'm currently looking at this REI Novara Strada and am having trouble getting a sense of what a reasonable price would be.
The seller does not know the year of this make but describes it as follows:
-23 inch (58 cm) frame
-components: Shimano 105: Front and rear deraileur, crank arms, brake levers and brakes, hubs, and pedals.
-Ritchey saddle
-bar end shifters, Arraya Rims, and a blackburn crossrack.
-frame, made in Japan, is Tange double butted cromoly steel.
-front fork is Tange cromoly steel.

Hi riteph welcome to the forums. nice looing bike. I am not sure if you know this but Novara was (maybe still is?) the house brand of REI.
depending on your market I would say $250ish. a DB ChroMoly frame could be lots of things from a basic 3 main tubes of 900 to a full Prestige tube set.
where you live can effect the price a bit too. in Armore OK this bike may sit on CL for months at $250 but in Seattle it may be gone in 20 min for $400
