Peugeot Gentleman DeLuxe 1975
Peugeot PR 60 gentleman de luxe
I found this lovely bicycle and was amazed about the beautiful finish and details. It is in mint condition and with completely original parts. Even with a 'french' yellow light bulb in the front headlight. I"m in love with this 'randonneur sportive'. Great cycling.
I wonder what it is worth. Any idea?
Thanks,
Manouche

Hubs Normandy Luxe Competition
Freewheel: 14x17x19x22x26

I'm not an "expert" on European spec'd Peugeots (or any Peugeots for that matter) but since that appears to be a Reynolds frame label, I'd venture that this is a pretty haughty model - like a PX60 maybe, from around 77-78 based on the catalog photos.
It is difficult to place a value on it for your market, but considering what the better Peugeots bring here, and with all the very nice accessories and superb condition of your bike, I'd ask $600 for it if I were to sell it on eBay. (I'd put some more dignified Tressostar black tape on those bars first though).
- With any luck, I would not be surprised if went a couple hundred more.
(I'll be interested in what the real experts here have to say.)

Thanks for your reply and information.
I agree with you on the ugly handlebar tape. I have to change the brake levers position so I change tape anyway.
I suppose that the value of this bike in Europe is lower since there are more Peugeots on the market.
Anyway, it is a beautiful vehicle and i love riding it.

rear light
I'm looking for a original rear light since mine is broken. I like to replace it with the same one. (See picture, the blue tape is a emergency repair)
