Sunshine bicycles were manufactured in Canada. I have owned a couple of these old bicycles, both balloon tired models. I took little interest in either, since I am a vintage road bicycle collector. Sadly, I know nothing else about the Sunshine bicycle. I do wish I had taken pictures of the two that I had.
Sorry I could not be more help.

Sunshine bicycles were manufactured by Sunshine-Waterloo Ltd., based in Waterloo, Ontario. The company was formed in 1929 as an amalgamation between Sunshine Harvester Works (Australia) and Massey-Harris (Canada) to manufacture agricultural equipment. Due to the depression they soon diversified into baby carriages, bicycles, tricycles and roller skates. WWII saw a switch to military products and after the war a successful line of office furniture was introduced. In 1955, the company became a subsidiary of Massey-Ferguson and the following year the focus was switched also entirely to the manufacture of office equipment, with the name being changed to Sunshine Office Equipment Ltd. in 1961.
The bicycles were well made and popular, at least in Ontario, where they appear to have been 2nd only to CCM. It does not take too much searching to turn one up, at least in my region, where 1930-1950s Sunshines turn up more frequently than equivalent era CCM.

In my region, it would fetch $50-$75.
