Shimano 600 EX Arabesque
Just curious if these are worth anything or are they just something cool looking to add my growing collection of good looking parts that I have little use for. Also it has a button thingy that says push on the cage that seems to have no purpose any clue what this is for?

Yes they are worth a few dollars if sold to the right person... ie on ebay or here on bike forums. I would say rear D... worth between $10 and $30, shifters... $10 to $20. but on the right bike the are pretty cool.

Actually, Shimano Arabesque is developing a bit of a following and prices have been going up over the past few years. I have had really good luck selling Arabesque groups. I even managed to do very well on a crank set with one key release crank bolts.
So, are the OP's components worth anything? Yes, in my opinion, but how much will depend on many things. The estimates offered by other Forum members is probably in the ball park...

Thanks for the info I will keep an eye out for these maybe another set will pass through my hands at the bike coop. To me while nice looking these seem to just be an interest copy of campy record stuff with a few tweaks.
