What do you guys think this frame and fork might be worth? It has never been unwrapped but everything appears to be in perfect shape except that one of the buttons is missing and there is a slight scuff on the drive side rear seat stay. The SLX sticker has a bit of discoloration. The piece of tape on the fork steerer has the same date as the bottom bracket plus the name "Argento", would he have been the builder?

"Argento" means silver in Italian. That's nice frame you have. I have no idea of it's value tho. I might be the worst judge on earth for that.

I've been looking at the market for eighties Supercorsas for a couple of years, and framesets in like new condition seem to be selling for $1,000 to $1,500, with complete bikes going for $2,000 to $2,500 depending on the components. I'm not sure how much of a premium you could expect from the frame being in its original wrapping, but I'd guess some buyers would be willing to pay more.

thanks for the information guys, I had guessed about $1200 or so, it sounds like I am in the right neighbourhood.
Where the heck can I find the buttons that fit onto the side of the seat stays?
I also purchased a Campagnolo work stand, are these at all valuable?

Are you asking about binder bolts?
My photos are pretty bad but if you look at the second photo, there is a small plastic bag taped to the drive side chain stay and inside of that is an extra binder bolt. I guess that these were hard to find so Cinelli included two from the factory?

I think you have the value about right. The buttons are very hard to find, check Ebay. The Campy workstands are also quite valuable but I don't know the current market price as you hardly ever see them for sale.

Constant tinkerer
Shouldn't affect the value much though. What appears to be there also looks very minimal.

What size is it? Looks like a 58 or 60 cm from what I see, but side can also affect pricing. The more popular sizes like 56 - 58cm is more sought after by more people, so you will most likely get more and higher bids for it. But being NOS, you can start pretty high with the price and go from there.
