I have a womens 3 speed foremost brittish bike its in rough shape needs resteration , anyone herd of these ? are they worth anything?

Can you post some pictures so we can see the state of rough shape they are in?

The front rim is peeling so would need stripping and rechrome , the paint is peeling on chain gaurd and on fenders handel bars may clean up with some pitting rear wheel may clean up with some pitting , the three speed hub I think is ok just sat in barn for years. how old do you think it is?

My guess is late 1960 to mid 1970. I have a bunch of bikes with that type of frame all of them are of that time frame. Also the seat, chainring, cranks and bars are telling me it's from that period. This one will require some amount of cleaning and fixing but the paint looks like in decent shape.
As for what its worth, hard to say from my area. I believe Foremost is american. Plain as is I can probably get 40-50 bucks for it. If it was a good condition bike with some patina I would probably be able to get no more than an hundred for it. This is based on my personal experience with my bikes.

Foremost was a name used for bikes from J.C. Penny. Who made that bike, I am unsure.

Is anyone interested in restoring one of these? I really have no need for this one , I had to buy it to get a schwinn tiger . If no intrest I may try to do something with it this winter.
