Vintage Cannondale w/ Campagnola inquiry?
 

Is this bike any good? I want to go and pick it up today. I always wanted a Cannondale and this one looks very nice. He made it look like a modern Cannondale bike and I think it looks very nice. Just wondering if it's a bullet I should dodge or not. Please respond as soon as you can! Thanks!

i would take a look at it if i were you. the picture doesnt really tell me much but the description does sound accurate. it looks to be an older 80s frame with a steel fork, modern decals, and some campy hanging off of it. if it is in decent shape i think it is worth it.

Maybe. Ad says it has a Campy crank. The rest of the components could be mis matched. It MAY have originally come with aero brake levers. If it was all original in good condition then yes. If the repaint is a rattle can job- forget it IMO.

Well I am not too worried about the looks. Even if it's rattle can.

Mount Joy, Pa looks to be a small market. Perhaps I am wrong but $300 may be a bit high for that neck of the woods. Are there slim pickins there? Is it a long drive to go see it? If you look at it, like it and it fits you? It's your cash.

I sold this one easily for $275 in May 2011 here in SoCal. Mostly 105, 6 speed indexed and a 600 crank.Cro-moly fork.

That is a very nice bike. I am giving him like $150 cash and a kindle. It looks nice and all I need is a simple bike. It has new bontrager tires!
