Miyata Elevation 8000

It's sentimental value is nearly priceless but I am considering selling it anyway. What do you all think its real world value is? I have been checking ebay on a fairly regular basis and have not seen one for several years. Aluminum lugged Titanium FrameI with original FatMax 2 fork. Components are mostly LX with an XT fd.

I just sold this early nineties Elevation for approximately $350.00, fully rebuilt with added racks, pump, mirror, and a set of brand new Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires. The bicycle is mechanically perfect and cosmetically, darn near as good...

Randy enjoys some world class pricing (high) due to its excellent reputation, the outstanding work he does on the rehab, the willingness and capability to ship bikes over the world, and a stellar ebay feedback rating (on bikes shipped all over the world).

If you share these attributes with Randy (I do not), then $350 is possible.

You do have a pretty unique mtb, so perhaps its possible. Around here, MTB enthusiasts want a modern MTB, as the technology has improved so much. So what you have is a really nice bike, that in my market would be underappreciated = excellent keeper.

Such unique bikes are better off sold in a large (global) market, as it only takes two people wanting it to drive the price up. Do those two people live in your area, and if so, do they have the funds and are they prepared to buy?? I doubt it. Now if you live in one of those LARGE red hot markets, its possible.
