Lemond GAN -What to do, What to do

I orginally bought this from KonAron for the Mavic group with intentions of selling the frame. Now I am not so sure. I was emailing with Ultraman about this frame and it seems it may have a rather odd pedigree. While it is long it may be better if I try and cut and past his email.

It seems this falls into a time between when Lemond was marketing frames/bikes but not through 10spd Drive (atleast I think he went through them once) or later Trek ruined his name.

So I now have this Lemond frame in GAN team colors made with Excell GLx Acier Special tubing. it has a number tab but I don't think that means this was a pro team bike but who knows.

My questions now are...

1; Should I sell the frame/fork and what value does it have?

2; Reinstall the Mavic group, 8spd cassette Mavic hubs, GEL 330/280 rims (yes tubular), Starfish crank, index shifters/derailleurs, and brakes (levers scuffed up) The parts are still dirty, the PO took lousy care of this bike, but I'll try and get some pics up shortly. Roughly how much more would a complete bike be worth?

Ultraman's email

"" I'll do your life easier, that's one of the gan replica frames. The
rear end is 130 I believe. The serial number won't mean that much
because nobody knows who built those with the exception of the 10
original lemonds built by a guy in Las vegas who can't remember his
name right now; The same with many of the lemond Z team replica era
frames; some were bilatto built, other ones who knows, all of this
happened just when the company started the 1st time, before going
backcrupsy the 1st time. and pretty much they gave the task to who
ever was up and ready to make business with them. Even there is a
rumor that some of the zteam models were built by scapin, the thing is
that if you one or other bikes from the same model they will look
different, no consistency neither information that s**ks thogh. The dark
ages of the lemond history. ""

Thanks for your help

OK as promised here are a few more pics. I hung the parts back on and took it down to the carwash and gave it a good bath. Right now the frame is outback dripping Boesheild from every pore.

as you can see the components are in good shape mechanically but cosmetically YUK! this guy had no love for this bike NONE! there was actually duct tape on the handlebars.

So what do you think? Is the frame worth $250 stand alone? more less? Should I rebuild it and list it on the bay for $700?

I actually forgot how great these hubs were, there are atleast 4 bearings on the drive side alone. the freehub/cassette comes rightof with just a 5mm allen to remove what you would call the locknut.
