1976 CCM BICYCLE PARTS hard cover book...
I found this 1976 issue Dealer's CCM hard cover parts/price book a few years ago, tucking it away because it does not take up much room. Anyway, interest has been expressed in the book and I have no clue as to value???
In cases such as this, I usually think about what it is worth to me and then set my price, accordingly. In this case, the book might prove incredibly valuable, for use on my website, of absolutely useless to me, since I rarely look through it, myself.
So, what do you think something like this is worth? The book measures roughly 12" x 9" x 1" and features fold out pages and parts and part prices for 1973 to 1976. Bicycles are the primary focus, but CCM, Campagnolo, Huret, Universal, Mafac and many other components are featured, with expanded drawings and part numbers for most.
There is a full color catalog included at the back of the book, featuring the CCM sports line-up, most of which is hockey related.
Have a look...
Anyway, a few pictures.

That's really neat! That's something I'd love to have in my collection.

No idea on value......books are even more difficult to judge than bikes....
If you are worried about what you may or may not need in the catalogue for your own purposes, you can always just take detailed photos or scans of either the sections you are interested in or of the whole book for posterity. Modern digital cameras take photos which allow you to zoom in on the smallest of text and fine print, you just need to find the right settings for your particular camera.

Check ebay and amazon. Ebay sometimes has stupidly high bids on common books, but you never know. How much is the buyer willing to pay for it, and how much is it worth to you?

I will scan many pages but only for use on my website. Thought the information is useful, I rarely use it. I was thinking of listing in on Ebay but not for ten dollars. That does not work well for me anymore.
Anyway, I have lots of vintage books relating to old bicycles. For some reason, I have been finding and setting them aside for years. Come to think of it, I have a lot of vintage books about old motorcycles, also. Perhaps I should let those go on Ebay as well. I even have a complete, almost unused, set of encyclopedias about old motorcycles.
For what it is worth, before I got into my bicycles, I restored antique motorcycles for fun, the last one being a 1934 Indian Big Chief with exposed valve stems moving up and down, in plain view, as that old flat head "V-Twin" rumbled away.

Since I could not determine value, I will leave doing so up to anyone who wishes to purchase the book. I just listed in on Ebay as an auction, in case anyone from the Bike Forums wishes to have a go at it.
