Hello,

I am thinking of purchasing this bike I found on craigslist. I am kind-of just starting out about learning how to fix bikes so I feel like this one will help me to learn how to possibly true a rim. Here is the link to the bike:

I am not sure how bad the rim is bent. But the bike is only $25. So I feel like this is hard to pass up. Is this a good price? I am probably going to sell it too since I already have 2 peugeots and my parents will kill me if I get another!

Its a good price. Im trying to buy that exact bicycle as well. But the seller hasn't contacted me back. If you get it good luck, it would make a decent conversion.

Yeah pretty much any decent road bike for $25 is a deal. That one is lower end but at $25 you will not find much.

Surprised that it's not already gone. If you want it, contact them NOW or someone else will buy it, fix the wheel, and put it up for sale at $150.

Thanks for the input. I am picking it up tomorrow after work. I think its a good snag. I hope the wheel isnt too badly tacoed.

I had one of those once and put whitewalls on it. It looked great. It was actually a really nice bike for a lower end model.

That is super cheap even if the rear wheel is trashed.
