78 Centurion Super LeMans

It caught my attention on Craigs mainly for the barends, but really liked the crankset too. After I got it home, I decided not to rob it for parts, but rather, turn it into a restoration project. I paid $125 for it. Seemed like a good deal. I bought it from the original owner. He said he had it repainted awile ago. What do you guys think?

Looks great for $125, good buy.

The crank is a nice upgrade from sometime in the 1980s.

I really like the way it rides too. Better than my aluminum 2010 Trek 1.1 by a fair margin.

Luck? Not really. Obsessively watching CL for a cheap bike to cannibalise, yes. So, instead of getting the levers and barends I need for my FrankenCx, I have another project.
