    Fuji America Touring Series V

I'd appreciate input on the pricing for this Fuji; prices run moderate to high in my area. I replaced the 27" tires, bar tape, and cables. Suntour derailleurs and barcons, Nitto stem/drop bars. She has nice lugs.

Touring bikes tend to be hot esp w/canti brakes and toutring crankset. I would expect atleast $250.

I know Robert's area well, and would list this at $475.

+1 $450 to $500. Looks great, I would dump the turkey levers and install gum hoods.

That looks very clean. My experience is when I sell real vintage touring bikes in my area and a person that is looking for one finds it in his/her size there is no hesitation in paying full market price.
I don't know if I could get $450 for it but I certainly would list it for that.

I have done well on touring bikes, but it is a niche market, and sometimes it can take a while to find that perfect buyer. In addition, only really savvy buyers will recognize the TS V as a top notch touring bikes. Most buyers only have a couple on their list (Miyata 1000 for example), and overlook a lot of good ones.

I have sold two TS IV (one step down) here in Hooterville, $400 for one, $375 for the other. Cosmetically, my $400 one was very similar to yours above, but mine was a less desirable size. The $375 one was a more desirable size, but in poorer condition.

Take it off and put it back in a few weeks. Are you close to the Circus bike thing in Leesport next month?

If that was a 59 I would thinking about but the last thing I need is another bike esp a touring bike.

The Fuji sold at $375. Out of the blue I got two serious buyers. Now I have a beautiful large Club Fuji to sell. I'm building funds for a special recumbent trike.
