Altinger

I was with some friends having some post-Mass noodles last night when I started chatting with an acquaintance about the ride and she was unhappy with her bike.. she pointed it out to me and it appeared to be a standard grey roadie (she wants to ride upright). On the way out I took a closer look and 1st thing I noticed was how light it was for its age (I thought late 80's) I've never heard of this frame and checked out the components - beautiful cinelli quill and drops, I think it was reynolds 531 tubing - the rest was stock campy record (everything). Only new thing on it was some ****ty saddle - but it was honestly one the most beautiful things I've run my hands over ;) - the lugwork was outstanding :twitchy: . She had no idea (her dad had it shipped from germany and let her have it) It was in pristine condition and I've found nothing about them save their website (http://www.oliverbaron.com/wilhelm_altinger)

curious what kinda gem she is riding around? I'd wage it was ~1k
