What is my Bianchi and what is it worth!?

Hello all this is my first post to the forums. I recently picked up a Bianchi road bike for less than the price of a new saddle and would like a little more information and maybe a general price idea on it? Celeste and Black paint with all Shimano 600 components. Formula Two and Made In Italy stickers. "5613" and "7F" stamped on the BB shell. Mavic MA40 rear and Ambrosio 19 Extra Super Elite front wheels both laced to Shimano 600 hubs. "Sella Italia" saddle. I thought it was "Selle Italia?" 3TTT seat post, stem and bars and Scott Aero Bars. IMG_0831.jpg

Sorry about the low-quality picture. Will upload more tomorrow when I patch up the tubes and take her on our first adventure.

I can't wait to see better pics, it appears to be an '88 Trofeo although someone upgraded the components. It looks like your stem may be high look to see if there is a 'minimun insertion' mark if that is exposed the stem is dangerously high.

I am not sure what you paid for since a saddle can range in price from $40 to $200+ but I would say really clean this could go for $300ish

Hi Bianchigirll, thanks for the info!! I actually paid $50 for it. I was on CL this friday and a guy was having an estate sail saturday and he mentioned a Bianchi road bike so I immediately e-mailed him about setting up a meeting before the sale and I did not waste any time grabbing it! But I haven't been able to get the tubes patched but I will definately need to get that done because she's just sitting here teasing me. And as far as the stem goes, I just lowered it a tad bit, I removed it and saw no minimum insertion but I eyeballed it and she should be okay, I also removed the aero bars and 3TTTs and installed some pista bars(Soma 456) that I've been dying to use. Surprisingly it looks great with the break levers! But I am planning on taking it apart and cleaning every cm of it, I just don't have all my tools/: but I'll keep you posted with pictures as soon as I get her on the road!!

Can't wait to see some pics of it all cleaned up. Does that have shipmano or "Bianchi" cranks on it?

These are very nice bikes, they ride great and the color can be a bit of head turner.

I finally got the tubes patched and the tires mounted. Well the guys at the shop did! Continentals are a pain in the rear! (even the dudes there had a hard time) But I ran into another issue when I got home, I need new cables! But here are a couple more cell phone pictures of her with the Soma 456 track drops.Photo05291806_1.jpgPhoto05291806_3.jpgPhoto05291806_4.jpg

It is not so much the tire as the rim. Those FIR are hard to get just about any tire on.

Those are some seriously deep bars
