Unknown Road Bike Frame with Campy Dropouts - WHAT IS IT??

hello,
i'm not sure if this is posted in the right place. MOD's please move to the correct forum if i posted this in the wrong section. thanks.

i'm new to this forum but not new to bikes. i'm into old BMX bikes but what brought me here is that i'm looking to identify what brand frame this is. i have some buddies that are pretty versed on road bikes but couldn't tell me what it was and figured i'd come here for the expertise.

here's the story...
i recently scored a complete bike with ALL campy parts except for the 1st gen. phil wood hubs which has me to believe it might be something interesting. my guess is that it's a late 70's touring frame....and appears to have been painted at one time. there are no holes in the headtube and has Campagnolo drop outs. i'll post some pics...

i was wondering if anybody could help me out and tell me anything about this frame???

This looks to be a very nice frame but as just the frame repainted with no really distinctive details and only Campy dropouts to go by this frame will be very hard to positively ID. Whoever previously owned the frame did it major diservouse by the way of the iffy repaint killing a lot of or most of it's potential value.
