value of bsa tandem with watsonian sidecar? ( i think)
I did google these items and checked EBAY 3 different ways to sunday, to no avail, Sorry i haven't pictures, but I stumbled unto the above while searching a building for motorcycle parts, the bicycle and side car are both rough, but interesting to me for the BSA connection and sidecar , as I have a m/c with a sidecar. Anyway the next time I will see it i'll have to decide on buying or not, clearly i haven't a clue at what I'm looking at value wise or whether it is even desirable to the biking community. or might it be to rough to restore...it does appear to complete, just put away wet a looong time ago. It's a wall hanger to me as i have enough projects to last past my personal actuarial table. Can anyone tell me when BSA quit making bicycles?, particularly tandems. As well as the Watsonian bike sidecars? I know when the BSA m/c went belly up and I know that Watsonian SC's are still available for m/c's but i'm a fish out of water when it comes to two wheel devices one propels with people power. THIS JUST IN...a friend emailed some pictures of it to me...now I am forced to admit I'm a "techno idiot" also and haven't the foggiest how to attach said pictures to this "thread"? I could forward the email to anyone kind enough to take a look see, provided you'll share your email address, be forewarned the pic's will include several shots of a vintage HD Sportster and a hotdog vending cart i also had interest in, I have a good idea the value of the HD, but remain clueless on the hotdog cart should any one care to speculate Ya I know hotdog carts are another forum thx for your time in advance !
