Carnac cycling shoes?

Since my current shoes are pretty worn out, I've been in the market for a new pair of shoes and managed to snag these form a local thrift store. Now I'm wondering if these have enough residual value that it might be worthwhile to resell to someone else and just get another pair of my current shoes (Sidi Nevadas, on sale for about $50)?

I think they are French....IIRC, They also make/made motorcycling boots. Mostly a Euro market only brand though.
It might be hard to get much money from them unless you find someone really looking for that brand of shoe, as they are not a known brand in the US.

I got a pair of Carnacs in a package deal with my Cannondale , I love 'em. Lots of room, I've used them for 2 years now . Nice shoes , just use 'em up.

$10, and they're around a 46/47. I can't find any size markings on the shoe.

47 is kinda big... What size shoe do you usually wear, and how would you describe the fit ? Losse, normal , tight ?

The only cycling shoe I've ever worn is a Sidi and I wear a 46 in those. The Carnac's are ever so slightly wider and longer but they still feel pretty comfortable. I'd probably rate them as 2E/Wide.

that may just be too big for me. I wear 45 Shimanos and Northwaves.
I have a pair of 46 SPecializeds, but those are lace up not velcro and I snug them .
Good luck, hope things work out for you.

I wear a 47. I'd buy them if the price was right.

I sold this clean pair of Carnacs for $75. Size 48. I think the size is printed on the tongue somewhere. Probably very faint and worn off.
