Worth It? 50cm 1980's Fuji Absolute
Just got this for $350 after selling my other crap fixed schwinn for $200 (so i just paid the difference). Was it worth it? It's a 1980's fuji Absolute frame (newer classic chromoly frame). Hardly any scratches at all and normal wear on the rims from the breaks. Just gotta change the handlebar tape and basically a very good condition. DOn't really know the exact specs of all the components of the bike since my brother bought it for me in another city and I haven't seen it yet. 50cm and i'm 5ft 6in so it was the perfect size at the perfect time. Awesome colors in my opinion too. Still learning a lot about bikes and was wondering the quality of this bike...hopefully i didnt get ripped off TOO bad. Didn't have money for a bianchi or anything special
Enjoy the pics:

Sorry, not worth $350 (at least here). It was a lower end Fuji, you like it, so enjoy it. Straight gauge cromoly main tubes, high ten steel fork, originally a 29 pound bike (that's heavy by 1987, which I think is the year of this bike). It was sold as a value oriented recreational level bike.
Around here, in its original multi-speed build, in ready to ride condition, I could get $150 for it. Vintage SS conversions no longer sell very well, so I don't convert them anymore. Too much competition with the influx of low cost, new SS/FG bikes from the various internet sellers.
Original Fuji catalogs are all on line, at the classic fuji site.

Every market is different. I would consider my market average, maybe slightly better than average. There are some crazy markets out there, where bikes bring a lot more $$.
